Jerzy Radziwiłowicz

Jerzy Radziwiłowicz – Actor. In 1972 he graduated from the PWST in Warsaw. In the same year he was engaged to the Old Theater in Krakow, where he still plays today. He made his debut with the role of Zagorski in M.F. Shatrov’s “The Bolsheviks” . A faculty member of the Krakow Academy of Dramatic Arts, pro-rector in 1981-84, his most important roles were in productions directed by K. Swinarski, such as Tomasz Zan in A. Mickiewicz’s “Dziady” (Forefathers’ Eve) (1973). He is also a well-known film actor, and was particularly famous for his roles in A. Wajda’s films: Mateusz Birkut in “Man of Marble” (1976) and Maciek Tomczyk in “Man of Iron” (1981).
