Grzechowiak Jarek

Film scholar and historian of Polish film. From 2015 to 2017 he worked at TVN television as a Junior Program Acquisition Specialist. Doctoral student in film studies at the Institute of Contemporary Culture at the University of Lodz, filmographer at the Filmoteka Narodowa- Instytut Audiowizualny. Co-author of film publications (including Film Culture of Contemporary Lodz, Polish-Czech and Polish-Slovak Film Contacts), author of articles published in “Kino” and “Kwartalnik Filmowy” among others.

Member of the scientific team working on the subject of the distribution of foreign films in Poland in 1945-1989. Organizer of film reviews and events. Cooperated, among others, with Zachêta-National Gallery of Art, Museum of Cinematography in Lodz or Charlie Cinema in Lodz. He is currently involved in a project of the National Film, Television and Theater School in Lodz, concerning research on the use of VR technology.
